Where we ship
Vital Tides Research LLC. ships to addresses within the United States only. Orders with an international billing or delivery address will be cancelled and refunded in full.
Sales tax
California sales tax is charged on orders shipped to California addresses, calculated at checkout based on the delivery address. Orders shipped to addresses outside California are not charged sales tax by Vital Tides Research LLC.
Processing time
Orders are processed and shipped seven days a week, Monday through Sunday. Paid orders received before 2:00 PM Pacific Time typically ship the same day; orders placed after the cut-off ship the next day. Carrier pickup and transit may be limited on Sundays and public holidays. Processing time is separate from and additional to transit time. During periods of high demand processing may take longer, and we will notify you of any material delay.
Carriers, rates and delivery estimates
We ship via USPS, UPS and FedEx with tracking on every order. Most orders arrive within 3–5 days of dispatch. Orders of $400 or more qualify for free shipping; available services and rates for other orders are displayed at checkout. Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, regulatory inspection or other events outside our control once an order has been transferred to the carrier.
Tracking
A tracking number is emailed when your order is dispatched. If you have not received tracking within 2 business days of your order confirmation, check your spam folder and then contact us.
Packaging and storage on arrival
All products are supplied as lyophilized powder, which is stable for transit at ambient temperature, and are packed to protect against physical damage. No products require cold packs. Refer to the individual product page for recommended storage conditions and transfer products to appropriate storage promptly on arrival.
Title and risk of loss
Title and risk of loss pass to the customer when the carrier accepts the shipment.
Address accuracy
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not liable for orders delivered to an address entered incorrectly at checkout. Packages returned to us as undeliverable can be reshipped at your cost.
Order changes
Address changes and order modifications are only possible before dispatch. Contact us immediately if you need to change an order.
Lost, stolen or delayed shipments
If tracking shows delivery but you have not received the package, check with others at the address and with the carrier before contacting us. Report non-delivery within 7 days of the tracking delivery date. We will open a trace with the carrier and assist with any carrier claim; where the carrier confirms a package was lost in transit, we will replace the order or issue a refund at our discretion. Packages shown as delivered to the correct address are the customer’s responsibility.
